About the role

This role will be responsible for actively supporting and maintaining Amcor’s global treasury management system implementation of Kyriba and act as a compliance manager within APAC/EMEA. Secondary responsibilities may include supporting the APAC/EMEA team daily operations and reporting activities. This includes acting as a system administrator for Kyriba, maintaining treasury’s Sarbanes-Oxley control framework, support in managing daily treasury processes, and ensuring compliance with treasury and company policies. This role is temporary and limited for 6 months.

Key Job Accountabilities

Systems and processes

Support the implementation of Kyriba within global treasury. This includes:

  • Act as Kyriba expert for any finance, accounting, or treasury projects
  • Administration and maintenance of bank statement reporting in Kyriba use for daily cash positioning
  • Drive and conclude bank contract reporting focused on CAMT.053 statement connectivity through Swift FileAct with 100+ banks across 400+ Amcor entities globally
  • Administration and maintenance of the Treasury Management System (Kyriba)

 

Compliance/Reporting:

Work with internal and external audit, banks and local finance teams to ensure all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and treasury compliance tasks are delivered accurately and in a timely manner. This includes:

  • Manage APAC/EMEA treasury’s portfolio of controls, including quarterly testing and management reporting
  • Perform quarterly APAC/EMEA treasury Standard Reporting Pack validation and analysis
  • Prepare monthly APAC/EMEA interest analysis and reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly APAC/EMEA foreign exchange result analysis
  • Arrange for the treasury compliance statements from all relevant entities at least once a year
  • Ensure compliance with the treasury policy and guidelines including banking authority, investments,
    FX and commodities

 

Treasury reporting / analysis

  • Support APAC and EMEA treasury month-end reporting processes.
  • Cash pool balance sheet netting and reconciliations
  • Cash pool interest analysis and reconciliations
  • Support corporate accounting team on management fee invoicing and collecting

 

Safety

  • Lead by example and by following all safety procedures, using accepted safe work practices and by setting high safety standards
  • Identify and control hazards in your work area and consult with a Health & Safety representative

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

Formal Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related subject
  • 3 years professional experience
  • Kyriba implementation experience, either as a key-user or as project team member or workstream lead

 

Practical / Specialist Skills

  • Self-starter who autonomously drives tasks to completion
  • Experience in bank contracting for Swift connectivity, across geographies and cultures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to shift behaviour depending on the situation and counterparty
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance management
  • Problem solving skills
  • Project management
