Shift FLT Driver

As part of the warehouse team, work to ensure the effective running of the plant by ensuring all goods inwards are received, receipted and located correctly and that all finished goods are picked, loaded and despatched in a timely manner, in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, load and despatch finished goods
- Receipt and locate goods accurately on business computer system and sign off any damaged goods. Good material to be signed for as such.
- Despatch goods. ‘Pick’ and sign off picking lists. Load and sign off picking lists. Load, stow and, where appropriate, secure cargo.
- Housekeeping – use of walk behind/ride on cleaners to maintain clean and tidy housekeeping within the warehouse
- Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety practices including completing daily safety checks on FLT
- Deliveries – restricting access to warehouse whilst unloading paper. Team work to enable quick, safe and responsible off loading and locating
- Toluene & Silo deliveries – adhere stringently to procedure. All safety aspects must be followed
- Supporting with the unloading and locating of the pallet truck delivery
- Ability to follow inventory management procedures to ensure accurate tracking and traceability of materials.
- Knowledge of handling procedures to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups during storage and transportation.
- Basic knowledge of quality standards , data integrity, and the importance of maintaining product integrity.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, planning) to address quality challenges and ensure compliance.
- Strict adherence to the organization’s hygiene rules, understanding the importance of personal hygiene and wearing appropriate protective gear to avoid compromising product quality.
