About the role

As a Production Planner at Amcor Flexibles Philippines Corp.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of our high-quality packaging products. This full-time position is based in Santo Tomas City Batangas, where you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production process to meet customer demands.

Production Planning 

  • Translate Forecast plan into production plans and raw materials requirement
  • Analyze production requirement and resources availability 
  • Effective scheduling rules for optimum utilization of production capacity
  • Work with operations department to improve delivery and production cycle time
  • Manage on-time delivery goals for customers are met and minimize delinquency
  • Works closely with all departments to achieve appropriate inventory targets that will enable a determined level of customer service.          
  • Reviews slow moving items, block inventories according to Excess and Obsolescence Policy
  • Ensure inventory target is met

Material Planning 

  • Purchase require Direct materials and  Ensure sufficient supply to production
  • Ensure accuracy and timely dispatch of shipping related documentation that meets customer requirement and expectations
  • Check the accuracy of freight invoice values and follow up if there’s discrepancy
  • Reviews backlog to determine materials shortages and capacity requirements to provide commitments feedback to customer. 
  • Coordinates the efficient expediting of materials and work in process with purchasing, production and engineering. Proactively identify areas of potential supply concerns, keeping in mind capacity constraints, shortages and communicates analysis/recommendations to all parties impacted
  • Check the accuracy of freight invoice values and follow up if there’s discrepancy

Others

  • Generate Require monthly report 
  • Ensure Compliance and Proper documentation and  Keeping of records
  • Performed any other tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible in reporting problem with regards to FSMS to immediate superior or to any FS team.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Production Planning, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise production processes
  • Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
