Knowledge and Experience;
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Purchasing Indirect and Raw Materials, with a focus on sourcing, purchasing, and managing non-production materials such as office supplies, IT equipment, maintenance parts, and facility-related services. Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.
2. Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, utilizing these tools to manage indirect materials based on business operations and production schedules. Strong knowledge of MS Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting purchasing data.
3. Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers, evaluate pricing, and negotiate favorable payment terms for indirect materials. Ensure suppliers meet the company’s quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, HR, and Operations teams to gather material requirements for indirect purchases and ensure timely availability of goods and services in alignment with operational needs.
5. Negotiate competitive prices and terms with suppliers in accordance with company policies and financial objectives. Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms, including delivery schedules and quality standards.
6. Monitor and follow up on deliveries of both direct and indirect materials, tracking order statuses, resolving delivery delays, and addressing discrepancies.
7. Track and report cost savings related to indirect materials and purchasing activities, ensuring the purchasing department achieves cost-saving targets and contributes to overall operational efficiency.
8. Analyze and evaluate supplier performance on a quarterly and annual basis

1. Ability to negotiate favorable prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions with suppliers
2. Term of Supplier Management, Selecting and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
3. Proactive in finding ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
