Le site Amcor Flexibles Sélestat, spécialisé dans la production d’emballages flexibles à base d’aluminium pour les industries pharmaceutiques et agroalimentaires, compte plus de 450 collaborateurs, réalise un chiffre d’affaires annuel de plus de 160 M€ et produit plus de 126 millions de m².

 

Dans le cadre d’une mobilité interne, le site recrute un(e) Ingénieur Expert Extrusion Couchage H/F.

 

Rattaché(e) au Responsable Technique, vous piloterez le développement et l'optimisation des formulations, des matières premières et des produits, de leur conception jusqu'à leur industrialisation.

Clients : secteurs pharmaceutique, alimentaire et technique.

 

À ce titre, vos missions seront les suivantes :

  • Piloter des projets de développement, d'industrialisation et d'optimisation des procédés d'extrusion-couchage
  • Développer et optimiser les formulations, les résines et les matières premières afin d'améliorer les performances techniques, la qualité des produits et les coûts
  • Apporter une expertise technique aux équipes Production, R&D, Qualité et Achats sur les procédés d'extrusion-couchage, les formulations et les matériaux
  • Collaborer avec les fournisseurs de matières extrudables couchage et les équipes Achats pour identifier, qualifier et intégrer de nouvelles matières premières
  • Piloter les projets d'homologation de nouvelles matières premières, valider les essais industriels et assurer le suivi des performances techniques et économiques
  • Assurer une veille technologique sur les procédés d'extrusion-couchage, les polymères et les matériaux afin de contribuer à l'innovation et à l'amélioration continue

 

Profil recherché

Diplôme Bac+5 en chimie, polymères, matériaux ou génie des procédés

Expérience significative en développement de formulations, extrusion ou transformation des polymères (minimum 10 ans) dans un environnement industriel de process exigeant

Bonne connaissance des résines, polymères et matières premières utilisés dans l'industrie

Bonne connaissance des machines d’extrusion et de compoundage

Connaissance des techniques analytiques (FTIR, DSC, rhéologie, spectrométrie…)

Expérience en gestion de projets industriels

Anglais professionnel permettant d'échanger avec les fournisseurs internationaux (minimum C1).

Extrusion Coating Expert Engineer (M/F)

As part of an internal mobility opportunity, we are looking for a Extrusion Coating Expert Engineer (M/F).

 

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will lead the development and optimization of formulations, raw materials, and products, from concept through industrialization, serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and technical markets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development, industrialization, and optimization projects for extrusion coating processes.
  • Develop and optimize formulations, resins, and raw materials to improve technical performance, product quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise to Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement teams on extrusion coating processes, formulations, and materials.
  • Collaborate with extrusion coating raw material suppliers and the Procurement team to identify, qualify, and implement new raw materials.
  • Manage qualification projects for new raw materials, validate industrial trials, and monitor technical and economic performance.
  • Monitor technological developments in extrusion coating processes, polymers, and materials to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or Process Engineering.
  • Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in formulation development, extrusion, or polymer processing within a demanding industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of resins, polymers, and raw materials used in the converting or plastics industry.
  • Good understanding of extrusion and compounding equipment.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques such as FTIR, DSC, rheology, and spectroscopy.
  • Proven experience managing industrial development projects.
  • Professional English (minimum C1 level), enabling effective communication with international suppliers.
