Position: Latam Product Marketing Manager – Healthcare
Job Overview:
Amcor is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to lead and expand our primary healthcare packaging product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product marketing, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare packaging sectors. This role demands strategic oversight of product categories, development of tactical marketing plans, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and leaders without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Classic Product Management Activities and Driving Product Innovation Through Multi-Generational Product Plans
- Develop and execute product life cycle plans to manage the product portfolio, and position the products by feature, benefits, and price.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, marketing, pricing, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to execute on product line plans
- Partner with R&D to drive product development: new products, new services, and new service models.
- Recommend new product/business allocation to the optimal Amcor manufacturing sites. Support to manufacturing improvements; support project financial and technical understanding
- Identify opportunities to improve on profitability metrics, by identifying and proposing options aligned with Amcors Value Plus agenda
- Conduct market analysis and voice of customer to identify product line gaps, develop innovative product requirements and establish a strong development pipeline to grow Amcors market leadership position.
- Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the Business with monthly sales report and a set of Key Performance Indicators
Drive New Business Pipeline
- Develop compelling value propositions for successful market growth Support sales as a subject matter expert for assigned categories and participate in customer-facing activities; support day-today customer and sales inquiries
- Provide efficient support, tools and training for the sales & customer service teams to improve their selling efficiency and knowledge (such as marketing presentations, product guides, sell sheets)
- Define and coordinate pricing policies with commercial and pricing teams, for the respective product categories, to drive profitable growth and gain market share
- Manage and drive product line sales pipeline and profitability with tactical marketing support
- Maintain needed levels of promotional sales products (sales samples, trade show samples, material samples) to support sales team, customers and equipment partners as needed
- Supports sale and customer events including trade shows
Measure Performance and Communicate Insights to Healthcare Leadership
- Manage Salesforce.com dashboards for new business pipeline to identify new opportunities, expected close dates and impacts to capacity and planning for operations
- Provide category report outs to report key customer drivers, competitor activity and category sales performance to plan in monthly/quarterly management report outs
- Provide category growth inputs for the annual Budget and Strategic Plan
- Develop and maintain key competitor database that identifies top tier competitors key market positions, new product launches, spec database, M&A activity and market price positioning for key product platforms. Understand strategies by key competitors, the potential long-term implications to Amcor and will communicate within the commercial, operations and R&D teams the strategy to ensure Amcors market-competitiveness within the healthcare space

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years marketing, sales, operations or R&D experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
- Healthcare market knowledge and exposure (desired)
- Technical background preferred
- Strong understanding of economic and marketing principles
- Strong understanding of pricing, costing and basic business finance
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
