Job Purpose

 

The role exits to assist with managing all aspects of the Commercial Excellence function in our Wine & Spirits Business Unit in North America to ensure customer satisfaction and attainment of volume, sales revenue and profitability objectives

 

Job Dimensions & Scope

 

The role is responsible for to support the Commercial Excellence Manager with 1) Pricing and cost recovery activities, 2) Contract Management Support, 3) Profitability Analysis 4) Reporting systems

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Monitor and maintain Customer contract database for business segments and key contract provisions affecting pricing including material cost changes, automatic renewals, price revision clauses, freight terms, etc.
  • Evaluating business cases for RFP’s
  • Maintaining price lists and ensuring appropriate period updates and implementation into local systems
  • Loading Sales and Orders to centralized systems and databases
  • Monitor and maintain Aluminum hedge follow up file
  • Prepare profitability and leaker reviews for discussions with plant and BU teams
  • Assist with approval for Salesforce actions
  • Work with plant teams to understand opportunities for cost out projects and impact on costing tools
  • Work closely with sales teams on NBO’s.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis in support of commercial initiatives

The business operates in a dynamic environment as such can, at times, require the position holder to effectively prioritise and manage multiple priorities to deliver to multiple stakeholders.  The post holder should be able to effectively plan and organise delivery within this dynamic environment.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  1. Formal Qualifications And Experience

 

  • Relevant university degree or Professional Accounting Qualification
  • Proven record of manufacturing experience in financial function

  • Strong systems skills / aptitude (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, ERP systems
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Demonstrable business & commercial acumen in addition to traditional finance skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral).

  • Result oriented and action-minded
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work cross functionally across the organization e.g, finance, commercial, supply chain, operations
  • Ability to travel to other Amcor sites in AFEMEA occasionally.
