The contract of this R&D Graduate Program will be based in Zell, Germany.

The 15 month Graduate Program includes 2 rotations across our R&D Expert & Development Centres in Germany.
Take on a Challenge!
As an Amcor R&D Graduate you will gain insight into the assigned function from different perspectives – by supporting plant-based daily activities as well as being involved in the central projects, together with your manager and more experiences colleagues. You will acquire new skills by understanding our product portfolio, having product trainings, participating in project meetings and being exposed to both -local and central materials and procedures. In parallel, you will be able to apply newly acquired skills in practical, hands-on projects, including:
- Support in the development and optimization of packaging components
- Participate in new developments and improvements projects from concept phase to series production
- Create of 3D data, 2D drawings, technical specifications
- Conduct tests with packaging components (e.g. leak tests, functional tests…)
- Evaluate and document the performed tests
What do you need?
It’s a good start to have the following:
- Degree in packaging technology & development, plastic engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, process engineering or related fields
- First working experience (can be apprenticeship/internship) with exposure to packaging / plastics, technical products manufacturing, development or design
- Fluency in English & German is required
- Strong interest in packaging development and technical products
- Analytical and structured approach
- Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel & PowerPoint focus)
- Teamwork and strong communication skills, with different stakeholders
- CAD systems knowledge (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA …)
- Nice to have basic knowledge of methodical work (e.g. FMEA) and simulations (e.g. FEM, Moldflow)
- Ability to work independently and manage projects
- First international working experience as an asset
- Permanent work & residence permit in Germany, with possibility to travel across EU
