JOB PURPOSE

The Business Unit Pricing Analyst plays a vital role in shaping and implementing pricing policies within the Business Unit (BU), closely aligning with stakeholders, and executing the Coffee Petcare & Specialty and EMEA strategy. The incumbent provides expertise in Raw Materials pricing, establishing effective communication channels on raw material-related pricing. This role involves collaboration with sales, commercial teams, and various internal departments to optimize pricing strategies, ensure consistency, and enhance value-added services.

JOB DIMENSIONS & SCOPE

The Pricing Specialist shall interact with all Business Unit Commercial teams and C,P&S Sites as well as the Business Unit Sales force and Business Group Sales & Commercial team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Be expert for segment business (price/markets/structures) by close collaboration with Marketing Manager of responsible segment
• Process pricing inquiries for CP&S sites (costing preparation and the price alignment with Marketing Manager)
• Coordinate the tender coordination for responsible segment
• Support Sales team for value proposition and business case preparation
• Participate in various projects that require price, cost or margin input (business scenarios, spec changes, design-to-value, etc.)
• Help to develop our pricing strategy by collecting feedback from the Sales team
• Help to ensure that our pricing process is consistent and also guarantees a full recovery of raw material increases and other input costs (energy, transport, indirect costs)
• Support with safeguarding the quality, the consistency and the transparency of the cost data provided by the sites (Site Technical team, Finance team, etc.)
• Support the team with creating pricing models and maintaining pricelists for assigned markets, customers, and products
• Execute RM tracker updates, price increases and product pricing updates

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

1. Formal Qualifications and Experience

• • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 plus years of business experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
