Continuous Improvement Graduate Program

 

Each year we are looking for a group of  Graduates interested joining our Graduate Program in various functions: R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, PMO and more.

The next program will start in October 2026.

As an AFEMEA Graduate you will gain insight into the assigned function from different perspectives – by supporting plant-based daily activities as well as being involved in the central European projects, together with your Manager & Local Supervisors. You will have a chance to prove your skills on different levels, getting involved in the Performance Boost Deployment project and collaborating with numerous stakeholders with different background, experience, and seniority. Our Graduate Program is designed for creative and motivated thinkers who love learning and taking on new challenges and responsibilities, not afraid of dealing with ambiguity and change.

 

In your role as Performance Boost Graduate in Continuous Improvement (CI) team, you will be able to work on and support the roll-out of the Performance Boost program in AFEMEA, by:

  • Participating in Performance Boost and way-of working deployment in the sites, as part of the CI AFEMEA central team;
  • Learning Performance Boost principles and contributing to their application in the shopfloor;
  • Supporting the design and plan of Performance Boost implementation and expansion,
  • Supporting Site Performance Boost Leaders in their role,
  • Driving actively CI activities and projects in the hosting sites, aligned with Performance Boost roll-out;
  • Collaborating pro-actively with teams and sites across AFEMEA to leverage best practices and harmonize CI approach, in line with Performance Boost program principles;
  • Fostering engagement of CI communities across various hosted plants and team you will be part of,
  • Supporting the coordination and drive of CI transformation, together with the CI AFEMEA central team;
  • Measuring and evaluating the efficiency of CI initiatives roll-out across sites.

 

What do you need?

 

It’s a good start to have the following:

  • Higher degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Degree in Project Management or in Lean/CI advantageous
  • Evidence of academic achievements and/or extracurricular activities, proving the passion for industrial engineering, CI/Lean manufacturing and project management
  • Internship or work experience within industrial environment, with exposure to process engineering, continuous improvement, quality management or project management - up to 2 years
  • Advanced knowledge of Power Bi / Power Apps / Power Automate
  • MS office advanced knowledge including Excel expertise requested, nice to have experience working with SharePoint
  • Interest in Continuous Improvement principles, some knowledge or experience nice to have
  • Fluency in English. Every additional European language as a plus, with preference towards German, French, Spanish or Czech.
  • First international studying or working experience as an asset, cross cultural sensitivity as a must
  • Proactivity & curiosity and focus on the results
  • Analytical skills & structured approach
  • Evidence of being flexible, adaptable & resilient for change
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work in an international, diverse team
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad across Europe
  • Permanent work permit in the EU
