RESPONSIBILITY

To prepare and optimize artwork files for printing including ensure all design files meet technical printing requirements, color accuracy, and production standards before they are released to the printing process. 

 

Main Job

  • Review and prepare artwork files to ensure they meet printing specifications.

  • Perform file preflight checks including color mode, resolution, trapping, and bleed settings.

  • Adjust and optimize files for printing processes such as rotogravure, flexography, or offset.

  • Coordinate with designers, customers, and production teams to resolve artwork issues.

  • Prepare cylinder/plate layouts and imposition according to production requirements.

  • Ensure color accuracy and consistency using color management systems.

  • Maintain prepress workflow standards and documentation.

  • Support press operators during print trials and production when technical adjustments are required.

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in prepress in printing or packaging industry.

  • Strong knowledge of printing processes (Rotogravure / Flexo / Offset).

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Esko, Artpro, Acrobat, and prepress workflow systems.

  • Understanding of color management, trapping, and file preparation for printing.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
