Purpose

This is a great opportunity to join the Payroll team based out of the Paisley office. In this role you will support the administration of UK payrolls. 

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to everyday payroll queries from employees
  • Carry out administrative activities to contribute to the smooth operation of UK payrolls
  • Processing end to end payroll responsibility for employees in the UK
  • Inputting and checking all aspects of the UK payroll, including starters, leavers and change data 
  • Knowledge and application of statutory legislation SSP, SMP, ShPP etc. 
  • Processing third party payments
  • Building and maintaining relationships with payroll contacts at site and shareholders in the business
  • Continuous improvement approach to all aspects of the role 

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, literacy and communication skills
  • Competent in using all MIcrosoft Office Packages
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Team player who can step in to support when needed 
  • Exposure to working in a payroll department is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of pension schemes is preferred
