Job Description:

• Lead end-to-end execution of new packaging development projects-from initial Customer request to first production 

• Take responsibility for project planning, execution and ensure that the project fulfils its scope and meets quality, delivery and cost targets.

• Guide the Customer through our stage gate process and ensure successful milestone preparation. 

• Managing of technical and commercial aspects of new product development projects with a focus on the customer experience

• Gathering and verifying all technical requirements needed for introduction of new customer portfolio on time and in full

• Carry out feasibility studies for design, scheduling, risk, cost and margin calculations

• Support the testing, deployment of new packaging materials, technologies, and processes.

• Thanks to interpersonal skills, innovation, proactivity and creativity: actively contribute to value analysis and cost optimization

• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for product development process 

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, timelines, and reporting tools

• Work closely and support the rest of Pre-Print team

• Prepare project invoicing and reporting (depending on Project and Customer)  

• Close collaboration with Production technologists, Customer Service, Planning, Marketing & Sales and other departments across ASC Production locations in order to ensure smooth introduction of new products

• Given that the factories & Customer facilities are located globally, both domestic and international travel are part of the job. 

Requirements:

A successful candidate for this Project Manager role should demonstrate:

• 5+ experience with product development of packaging and knowledge of design control process, process validation and related standards

• 5+ experience within FMCG industry (pharma or food ) 

• Excellent organisational, project management and time management skills

• Capability to master the big picture but also technical details when required, structured working style and ability to prioritize

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• A flexible, adaptable mindset with the ability to wear multiple hats and handle shifting priorities.

• A commercially minded perspective with the ability to see the broader business impact of product development decisions.

• Experience in implementing new process or process improvements to enhance operational & product development efficiency

• Strong analytical skills 

Multitasking abilities and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Strategic mindset and business acumen

• Ability to address and resolve issues efficiently, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Proficiency with packaging materials and production process
