  • Job Title: Pricing Analyst

    Business Group & Unit: Amcor Specialty Cartons 
    Function: Sales & Marketing
    Location: Łódz - on site or another ASC site in Europe
    Reports To: Pricing Manager
    Contract Type: Permanent. *Contract will be issued according to the legal requirements of the hiring country and its legal entity.

    Job Purpose

    The primary role of the Pricing Analyst is to organize and lead pricing activities for the tobacco packaging segment. This includes closely analyzing sales figures across product lines, reviewing historical data from previous years and quarters, and comparing it with current performance to identify trends, patterns, and potential discrepancies.

    Job Dimensions & Scope:

    This role requires close collaboration with:

    • All Business Unit Commercial teams and ASC sites
    • The BU Sales force
    • The Business Group Sales & Commercial team

    You will be a key partner across functions, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day pricing operations.

    Your responsibilities

    • Analyzed sales figures across product lines.
    • Reviewed historical data from previous years and quarters, comparing it with current performance to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
    • Prepared costing data and conducted detailed financial analysis.
    • Developed strategies to improve sales performance.
    • Applied economic and mathematical models to forecast the impact of changes in the business model on sales.
    • Identified and monitored market changes and trends.
    • Compiled data and insights into reports and presentations to support executive decision-making.
    • Created graphs, charts, and other data visualizations to support analysis.
    • Evaluated competitor performance and market positioning.
    • Collaborated with Customer Service (CS) and Product Development (PD) teams, as well as dedicated clients.
    • Participated in the preparation of tender submissions.

     

    Our requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable commercial environment
    • University degree in quantitative studies or a strong analytical mindset
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Experience in reporting and good Excel skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and business IT systems
    • Fast learner, comfortable working with large datasets
    • Self-motivated and proactive
    • Eager to learn and develop professionally
    • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
    • Ability to summarize complex data into clear and structured insights
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
