About the role 

 

Provide a concise overview of the role This role 1) provides business HR partnering support for Europe & Asia central functions including end to end HR support to all people managers and co-workers based within and outside of Lodz (Non Plant); 2) representing BU/BG as project leader to supports global/regional HR projects and enable success in emplementing HR processes (Reporting and HR Metrics, Training Administration, Talent Management, Org Chart Updates); and 3) provides ad-hoc generalist HR support to the VP HR & Communications; Human Resources Director Europe & Asia and Global ASC functions based within Lodz.

 

Key Job Accountabilities 

 

HR Business Partner Support  for Europe & Asia central functions

As the HR Business Partner for all Non Plant line managers and co-workers, the incumbent shall act as the HR point of contact for Europe & Asia central functions such as Regional Product Development Head, Other line managers and the entire co-worker base (ca 100+ people) providing guidance and consultancy on all people-related strategies and issues. The incumbent develops a solid understanding of the strengths, challenges and future plans of the various Organisations and implements human resources strategies, practices, change management, policies and processes to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources in support of the business. In alignment with the HR Director Europe & Asia, the incumbent also develops, implements, and administers programs (including, but not limited to talent management, talent acquisition, organization/talent development, remuneration/reward/ recognition, communications and employee engagement) to improve the performance of the business and drive Amcor toward being viewed as an ‘employer of choice’.

HR Generalist Support for ASC global functions based out from Lodz

As the point of contact for all ASC global functions’ co-workers that are  based out from Lodz – for example Sales and Pricing team members with local HR administrative support which may include employment contract management, talent acquisition and engagement activities etc.

 

Ad-Hoc Support to VP HR & Communications and HR Director Europe & Asia

  • Support the coordination of ASC Wide initiatives such as Quarterly Global HR Calls
  • Support the coordination of ASC Europe & Asia quarterly key leaders townhalls

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

 

  • Fluent English & Polish language skills are essential (written & spoken). Other languages are a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Business Partner experience at local level, working on end to end people cycle, with focus on talent development and performance management.
  • Minimum 3 years HR administration experience or exposure to HR processes and practices
  • Fluent English & Polish language skills are essential (written & spoken). Other languages are a plus
  • Experience in managing projects with extensive detail coordination
  • Experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business leaders
  • Good understanding of performance and talent management systems
  • Organization principles & practices (including design and team effectiveness)
  • Assessment and Feedback instruments (including MBTI; 360; Hogan; Team Management Profile, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Polish labour regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors preferred)
