Sales Manager – Home & Personal Care (France)

Your Role: Shape the Future of Home & Personal Care Packaging

As part of our Home & Personal Care division, you will take ownership of driving commercial success in the French market. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Strategy: Develop, refine and execute sales strategies to meet targets and grow market share across France.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Explore and secure opportunities in strategic product categories, including dispensing systems, applicators, closures, bottles, jars and more.
  • Strengthen Client Partnerships: Build deep, trusted relationships with key customers, fully understand their needs, and deliver tailored, high‑value solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively support customers, address challenges, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Own the Sales Budget: Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximise growth.
  • Analyse & Optimise: Use sales data to identify trends, uncover opportunities and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner closely with Project Development, Operations, R&D, and Product Marketing to ensure alignment and deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
  • Report & Communicate: Prepare clear, insightful sales reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges and forward plans.

What You Bring

Must‑Have Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, ideally within the rigid packaging industry; experience working with contract manufacturers is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the personal care and home care markets.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Native French speaker with an advanced level of English.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Knowledge of additional EU languages.
  • Experience working within the French manufacturing sector or strong familiarity with local market dynamics.
  • High proficiency in interpreting sales data and making data‑driven decisions.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering reports and insights to senior leadership.
