QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of supervisory experience within especially printing/packaging sector
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Turkish and English
  • Experienced in manufacturing environment working with TPM , WCM or IWS systems
  • Preferably, Energy Manager Certification
  • Excellent analytical reporting, team management skills
  • Strong strategic mindset, drives vision & purpose, sets priorities & drives result, customer focus, cultivates innovation, attracts & develops talent, engage people & teams  skills
  • Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager of Amcor Specialty Cartons İzmir.
  • Providing electrical /electronical, mechanical, periodic and breakdown maintenance of production machinery & utilities, devices and equipment and coordinating the necessary activities.
  • Carrying out training studies to improve the professional knowledge of maintenance team
  • Responsible for the initiation and execution of Predictive Maintenance and TPM activities. Monitoring the performance of the maintenance department, and evaluating the situation with periodic reports.
  • Management of the Maintenance & Capital Expenditure (Capex) budget, ranging from approximately €1 to €5 million.
  • Working in the selection of machinery, equipment and systems to be supplied. Responsibility for preparing the necessary documentation with the related team on this subject.
  • Technical responsibility of the new machinery, equipment and systems to be procured.
  • Providing the necessary technical documents and documents together with the machine, device or equipment for verification before acceptance for newly procured machinery and equipment.
  • Depending on the technical possibilities of the company, ensuring that the machine, device or equipment supplied is installed and operated in accordance with the assembly and operating instructions at the place where it will work or temporarily in a suitable place.
  • In accordance with the Regulation on Increasing Efficiency in the Use of Energy Resources and Energy, being the Energy Manager of our company.
  • Ensuring that the specifications and technical specifications of the works made to the suppliers are prepared and validating them in terms of conformity.
  • To be responsible, together with their team, for the planning, execution, and follow-up of subcontractor activities included within the scope of work.
