The role

To retain and row business through a proactive, sales and customer service-led approach. To support the commercial objectives of the Plaswood business by maximising all sales opportunities, developing existing accounts, and contributing to new business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, quotes, and enquiries accurately and on time
  • Follow up leads and quotations to maximise sales opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers, including key accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and track progress
  • Deliver excellent customer service and manage aftercare
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and delivery issues promptly
  • Keep customers informed on order status and shipping updates
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Maintain accurate customer and CRM data
  • Support reporting and general administrative tasks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team objectives
  • Take ownership of your development and training

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-focused with good problem-solving skills
  • Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Experience with CRM systems (desirable)
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
