Internal Sales Executive

The role
To retain and row business through a proactive, sales and customer service-led approach. To support the commercial objectives of the Plaswood business by maximising all sales opportunities, developing existing accounts, and contributing to new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, quotes, and enquiries accurately and on time
- Follow up leads and quotations to maximise sales opportunities
- Build strong relationships with customers, including key accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and track progress
- Deliver excellent customer service and manage aftercare
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and delivery issues promptly
- Keep customers informed on order status and shipping updates
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate customer and CRM data
- Support reporting and general administrative tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team objectives
- Take ownership of your development and training
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in a sales or customer service role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-focused with good problem-solving skills
- Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Experience with CRM systems (desirable)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
