Job Overview:
The HR Director for Mexico will play a strategic leadership role in aligning talent, organizational capabilities, and structures with the company’s medium- and long-term business strategy. This position is responsible for building a competitive and sustainable total rewards framework, including compensation, benefits, culture, and employee experience. The role also ensures strong labor relations practices that promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment, supporting both operational excellence and employee engagement. We are considering Guadalajara or Mexico City as the base location for this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the local leadership team to define and execute the overarching business strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and long-term growth objectives.
  • Develop and lead the country HR strategy, delivering an integrated and high-impact HR function that directly supports business results.
  • Design and implement organizational structures that enable agility and scalability in line with evolving business needs.
  • Build and drive a comprehensive Talent strategy, covering acquisition, development, and retention to secure a strong pipeline of future-ready talent.
  • Lead the Compensation and Benefits agenda, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Champion a high-performance culture and engagement strategy, fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.
  • Define and oversee Labor Relations strategy, ensuring effective union engagement, risk mitigation, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Establish and maintain strong external partnerships with government entities, unions, industry associations, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior HR leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican Labor Law and labor relations practices.
  • Advanced level of English (required).
  • Willingness to travel within Mexico.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
