Job Dimensions & Scope 

With more than 150 people, Froges is one of Amcor’s historic plants, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. Specializing in aluminium production for the dairy industry, Froges is a highly profitable and stable site, generating a turnover of €70 million in 2024. 

As our Supply Chain Manager, you’ll own the heartbeat of our plant. You’ll drive efficiency, optimize production, and ensure our customers get exactly what they need—on time, in full, every time. You’ll balance resources, inventory, and capacity while making a tangible impact on KPIs, costs, and working capital. 

You will report to the Plant General Manager with a dotted line to the functional BU Supply Chain Manager and will have 3 direct reports  (2 people from Planning and 1 from logistics). 

Principal Accountabilities 

1. Planning & Inventory Management 

  • Lead production planning and scheduling, ensuring optimal use of materials, machines, and personnel. 

  • Optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and balance demand with minimal working capital. 

  • Manage customer forecasts and coordinate with the team to meet service targets. 
     

2. Procurement & Supplier Performance 

  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure on-time, in-full, quality deliveries (DIFOTIS). 

  • Identify and implement procurement savings opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with suppliers to solve supply chain issues proactively. 
     

3. Continuous Improvement & Operations Excellence 

  • Own warehouse and transport operations, optimizing costs, mix, and efficiency. 

  • Track and improve key KPIs, including DIFOTIS, inventory turnover, freight and packaging costs, out-of-stock items, and slow-moving materials. 

  • Identify bottlenecks, simplify processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Lead, develop, and inspire your team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications/Requirements 

Mandatory 

  • Degree in Managerial Engineering or similar. 

  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. 

  • 5+ years’ experience in managing teams. 

  • Strong experience in planning, procurement, and continuous improvement. 

  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Access. 

  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication skills. 

  • Ability to link operational performance to financial results and KPIs. 

Nice-to-Have: 

  • Experience in flexible packaging or converting industries. 

  • Experience managing technical projects or leading CI initiatives in advanced manufacturing organizations. 

Soft Skills 

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to drive change. 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire a team. 

  • Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
