Responsibilities
- Execute regional sales strategies aligned with divisional and corporate objectives.
- Manage and develop customer relationships within assigned markets and strategic product categories.
- Identify new business opportunities, market penetration initiatives, and growth potential within the region.
- Analyze sales performance, market data, and customer trends to support forecasting and planning.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Quality, R&D/PLM, Customer Service, and Supply Chain) to ensure effective execution of customer requirements.
- Support resolution of customer complaints, quality issues, and service challenges in collaboration with relevant functions.
- Ensure adherence to sales targets, pricing guidelines, budgets, and product strategies.
- Represent the company professionally with customers and external stakeholders.
- Provide market and customer insights to support product strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Typically 2–5 years of experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably within packaging or manufacturing.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of sales strategy and execution within manufacturing or packaging environments.
- Understanding of packaging product categories (e.g., rigid packaging, dispensing systems, closures, containers).
- Familiarity with the German and European packaging market and customer requirements.
- General understanding of regulatory, quality, and sustainability expectations relevant to packaging.
- Strong client management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrix organization.
- Ability to use data and performance metrics to support decision-making and efficiency improvements.
