JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Health and Safety
1- Know and understand the safety & environmental risk in his cell.
2- Ensure that his team follow site safety procedure
a. Life saving rules
b. PPE
c. LOTO
d. Trigger
3- Accountable of the safety training of the team.
4- Anticipate any safety risk due to non-routine tasks (Line downtime, Maintenance,….) in his shift leveraging QRP.
5- Proactively communicate with the team on safety related topic through DDS, EO or DMS coaching.
6- Contribute to the DH by finding and fixing safety defects
7- Execute safety trigger on shiftly basis and develop mitigation plan to reduce safety risk
8- Contribute to Near miss identification
9- Participate to BOS and track his team completion to follow through
10- Make sure waste is sorting according site principle
11- Accountable to maintain 5S during his shift
Quality
1. Know and understand the quality risk in his cell.
2. Ensure that his team follow site quality procedure
a. Quality check completion
b. Line clearance
c. Put on hold product – launching first investigation to identify root cause using IPS if the trigger is reached
3. Accountable for his team quality training completion
4. Execute quality trigger on shiftly basis and develop mitigation plan to reduce safety risk
5. Anticipate any quality risk due to non-routine tasks (Line downtime, Maintenance)
6. Contribute to the DH by finding and fixing quality defects
7. Accountable of the quality of the product manufacture during his shift
8. Participate to QBOS and track his team completion to follow through
9. Investigate customer complaint for his respective shift in collaboration with the quality department, identify root cause and develop action plan with the Process lead.
Leadership
1. Ownership and lead the shift DDS with the peer to peer Shift handover, develop his team plan to eliminate top loses.
2. Ownership of the completion of all RTT DMSs during his shift.
3. Participation and contribution to the line DDS ( weekly and monthly included)
4. Define Equipment Owner priorities to achieve the team objectives which contribute to the cell glidepath and CBN
5. Coaching of his equipment owner
6. Accountability of the full PQCDSM results of his shift
a. Act with sense of urgency -follow Escalation process
b. Timely decision making following Amcor way, values.
c. Data accuracy in reporting tool ( Baan, Barco,…..)
7. Leverage RoT on shiftly basis to define shift KPI for waste (run and setup ), setup time and production volume.
Organization
1. Define Equipment Owners yearly priorities ( similar to TMS) in collaboration with the line leader
2. Perform mid year and final year performance review
3. Perform quarterly 1to1 with equipment owners
a. EO score card updated
b. Critical behavior feedback
4. Use TAT ( Team Assessment Tool) to define team action plan to increase overall team effectiveness following HPO principles
5. Single point of contact for the team to facilitate conflict management if not solved by the team
6. Coordinate daily staffing across the shift and adhere to site standards around break-time, vacation scheduling, overtime management, absenteeism, etc
a. Team break management
b. Holiday coverage plan
c. Use of temporary worker to fill gap
7. Perform IDP for equipment owner with the line leader
8. Back up of the line leader or Process leader
9. Apply the Reward and Recognition System expectations at the individual and team level
Autonomous Maintenance
1. Develop with line leader EO coaching plan and perform 50% of his team EO coaching on monthly basis ( back up line leader)
2. Team accountability for CIL/CL/DH completion and the health of the system in his team
Loss Elimination
1. Initiate Problem solving following the cell trigger to launch IPS/UPS
2. Anticipate change over, critical task related to it to changeover together with team capability and availability develop strong plan in DDS to make sure the team hit the RoT target
Preventive Maintenance
1. Single point of contact for the maintenance organization to schedule maintenance activities during his shift
2. Build a team plan for extended maintenance plan in collaboration with Maintenance lead to perform maintenance activities, fix defect.
3. Work in collaboration with maintenance lead during extended maintenance downtime to achieve success criteria ( time and work order completion)
Supply Network
1. Accountable to deliver the production schedule
2. Anticipate and organize the change over in shift and make sure they follow the different procedure
3. Follow MPSP DMS for his shift
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other related courses
- With Intergrated Work System (IWS) background
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a manufacturing set-up with supervisory experience
