1. Performs inspection activities related to raw materials (incoming inspection, line rejection and beyond shelf – life monitoring).
- Conducts sampling and evaluation of raw materials delivered based on raw material sampling plan and frequency of checks.
- Reports and put appropriate tags on inspected materials.
- Reports rejection to trigger notice of complaint on non-conforming materials
- Assist in gathering data, traceability and samples needed to raise complaints.
- Retains relevant documents related to the raw materials
2. Performs line and finished goods inspection and ensures conformance of all Work in-process (WIP)
- Checks printing schedule for the assigned machine
- Audits completeness of printing job paraphernalia such as but not limited to :
- Job Bag
- GTP
- Combi Film
- Layout
- Separation File
- Signing on Run Approval Sheet. Feedback production on non-conforming products and
ensures proper label for monitoring whenever necessary. - Prepares data, samples of non-conformity and for review of supervisor
- Initiate NCCS for the non-conforming products.
- Execute escalation process whenever needed.
- Prepares IMI samples from the production lot for client and retains in-line sampling archive samples.
- Assist in preparation of COA and samples preparation.
- Prepares samples for Master Color Standard for customer to be approved and submit to immediate superior.
- Prepares working color standard to be approved by Supervisor
3. Ensures Proper Use, Handling and reporting worn out parts and/or defective unit of Laboratory Instruments.
- Informs immediate superior on defective instrument, worn out parts and other abnormalities that need to be addressed.
- Maintains good condition and cleanliness of laboratory instruments
- Assists in implementing activities concerning the following:
- Disposition of Customer returns
- Analyzes evaluates causes of defects of customer returns.
- Monitors external rejections; its quantity, nature etc. and reprocesses if necessary
- Attends to customer servicing and machine trial whenever necessary.
4. Complies to Document Control adopted by the company.
- Safe keeps & maintain quality records & samples related to the conduct of the job.
- Participates in sourcing and retrieving quality related records, documents and samples as the need arises (i.e. during client and internal audit or doing trouble shooting and analysis whether external (customer complaints/rejections) or internal concerns.
- Responsible for reporting of outdated and disposal of obsolete files and records.
5. Complies with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and other quality systems adopted by the company.
6. Compliance to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies to ensure the safety of employees and the preservation of environment.
7. Maintains high standards of housekeeping practices and safe working in the conduct of testing, operation and handling of instruments and chemicals. Maintain and monitor Laboratory Condition.
8. Attends and participates regularly in quality related meetings, conferences and seminars to be abreast on important issues and concerns regarding quality of materials, product and/or processes whenever necessary.
9. Performs other function as may be assigned.
