Working within HQ Eurasia Finance team you will be responsible for assisting with the controlling & reporting activities of the Specialty Cartons Business Group. Eurasia region comprise 9 sites in 9 countries including Poland, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Netherlands, Indonesia, Philippines and Korea.  This position is located in Bristol, UK and reports to the Finance controller Eurasia. The role provides exposure to senior leadership at Regional & Global levels. 

 

You will ensure timely and accurate collection, consolidation and validation of all monthly Management activities, bringing out the story behind the numbers, supporting decision-making process with valuable insights and recommendations as well as providing on-going support to the Region and plant FDs for any controlling and reporting issues.

Responsibilities

 

  • Working closely with the Finance Controller, the Financial Analyst supports in managing and coordinating all Controlling matters for the sites within Eurasia
  • Monthly analysis of Financial Statements
  • Implements Working Capital improvements and manages Cash Flow in order to reach Regional targets
  • Develops robust Forecasting processes for OFCF and EBIT
  • Actively supports and participates in budget preparation process
  • Ensures internal controls are maintained in all financial cycles within the plants; participates and contributes to plants’ Balance Sheet review process
  • Optimizes activities and spreads best practices across the Region
  • Supports in driving efficiency and standardization, ensuring consistency, development and automation of month end tools
  • Provides regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis vital to the decision-making process of management

 

Based on the above-mentioned responsibilities the Financial Analyst must actively contribute to business success and performance improvement by

  • Contributing to local profitability improvement programs (cost savings, reduction of WC/Inventory)
  • Spreading best practice procedures in reporting, performance analysis and any other finance/ controlling services
  • Participating in other Regional or Group projects as required

 

Requirements

Education

Degree in Finance, International certificates appreciated

Experience

No less than 4 years of experience in Finance (Big 4 or big production company), knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS

Professional skills

Skilled PC user: Excel (advanced), experience of work with ERP systems
