Maintenance Manager

JOB PURPOSE
Play a key role in shaping the future of maintenance at Amcor's Brabant manufacturing site by strengthening the maintenance function, building robust ways of working, and delivering lasting operational improvements.
As Maintenance Manager, you will combine strong people leadership with technical expertise to develop a high-performing, autonomous team while defining and implementing the maintenance strategy that maximizes equipment reliability and minimizes unplanned downtime. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will lead technical and capital improvement projects that increase capacity, enhance safety and sustainability, and support the site's long-term performance.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and as a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to develop your people, introduce new maintenance approaches, and make a visible impact on one of Amcor's manufacturing sites. This is a role for a leader who is passionate about building teams, driving continuous improvement, and creating sustainable operational excellence.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and Develop the Maintenance Team

Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, building ownership, flexibility and technical capabilities.

Strengthen collaboration across Maintenance, Tooling and P-cart Maintenance.
Develop the Maintenance Strategy

Define and implement maintenance strategies and processes to improve equipment reliability and availability.

Drive improvements in preventive maintenance, downtime reduction and asset performance.
Lead Technical Projects

Manage reliability, capacity and technical projects from definition through execution.

Ensure safe, timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Drive Operational Excellence and Safety

Monitor maintenance performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with safety standards while optimizing maintenance effectiveness and costs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance on the production side.

Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing teams, with strong coaching and people management skills.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Proven experience developing maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance plans and asset management processes, including managing technical projects from definition through execution.

Dutch and English language skills at minimum B2-C1 level.
