You’re a collaborative and customer-focused People Technology Business Partner ready to play a key role in this journey – helping to shape how Amcor manages and empowers its 70,000+ people worldwide.
As part of our Global People Technology team, you will serve as the primary link between global People Technology, the HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and business teams across EMEA and APAC. In this permanent role, you will represent regional needs, legal requirements, and operational realities in the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of Amcor’s People Technology ecosystem. You will also lead the global People Technology Operations & Adoption team, ensuring high-quality HR support and strong user adoption.
Key Job Accountabilities
As part of the Global People Technology team you’ll be responsible for…
- Acting as the primary People Technology partner for HR, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and business stakeholders across EMEA and APAC.
- Representing regional legal, compliance, and process requirements in Amcor’s People Technology ecosystem, including the ongoing global Workday program.
- Supporting design, testing, cutover, and deployment readiness for Workday and related digital HR initiatives.
- Leading the global People Technology Operations & Adoption team, ensuring high-quality HR support and user adoption.
- Ensuring GDPR compliance in HR system processes and collaborating closely with Legal and Data Privacy teams.
- Managing regional change, communication, and adoption activities to ensure strong alignment and engagement.
- Building strong, trust-based relationships across countries, cultures, and global functions to ensure consistent and successful technology delivery.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years experience with Workday, gained either through international implementations or managing multi-country Workday tenants (European experience required).
- Experience with project management in an international environment, managing multiple stakeholders across regions and time zones.
- SuccessFactors experience is an asset.
- Proven experience in HR technology, HR operations, or HR business partnering in a global environment.
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Data Privacy, and Works Councils (especially in Europe).
- Leadership experience managing operational support or adoption teams is an advantage.
