Key Account Manager

Job Overview:
The Key Account Manager leads strategic and tactical efforts to grow and retain large global accounts by increasing share of wallet, improving profitability, and developing long-term plans. This role partners with marketing and lead generation teams to build account plans, identify growth opportunities, align on innovation and sustainability goals, and resolve issues that limit business expansion.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and manage account strategies aligned with Amcor’s product offerings.

Identify customer needs and drive sales opportunities across our portfolio.

Plan and lead regular customer meetings, including business and quality reviews.

Align with customers on sustainability and innovation initiatives.

Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure accurate demand planning and forecasting.

Build strong relationships and maintain clear communication with customers.

Meet sales and profit targets; track activities using Salesforce.

Engage with key stakeholders across customer teams, not limited to purchasing.

Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, etc.) to support customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. GPA requirements: minimum 2.5 from a reputable university or 3.0 from other institutions. Must provide verified transcripts or certification.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in account management, sales, Distributor or a similar customer-focused role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel for business, including to remote locations, with flexibility for extended trips as needed.
- Based in Greater Tangerang (West Jakarta, Tangerang, South Jakarta, Depok, Bogor, Cibubur).
- Proven success in negotiating contracts, closing deals, and growing revenue in key accounts.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and energetic; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language; able to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Own a personal car and be able to drive independently for client meetings and travel needs.
