Job Purpose

 

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner and advisor to business leaders, supporting the effective implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and programs across areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and retention and organizational development.

 

The HRBP ensures alignment between business objectives and HR initiatives by providing data-driven insights, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees; and also ensures the consistent application of HR practices in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and the national collective agreement.

 

The site is under organizational transformation with an operational excellence strategy and a cultural change. To deliver such changes there is a change program in place with proper tools. Therefore, the HRBP plays a key role in supporting this transformation by partnering with the leadership team to recruit accordingly, deploy change management strategies, enhance leadership capabilities and training to foster a high-performance culture.

 

Job Dimensions & Scope

 

  • Site AF Alzira: 300 FTEs, revenue € 130 M
  • Part of a 4-person local HR team
  • Direct reporting line to Human Resources Manager

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Manage recruitment, selection and hiring processes for talent.
  • Coordinate onboarding process.
  • Develop and implement annual training plan.
  • Supervise internal performance evaluation processes.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and well-being.
  • Promote talent retention.
  • Lead and participate in the different digitalisation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, audit processes and internal policies.
  • Participate in the necessary corporate projects and implement them locally.
  • Provide internal communication support.

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  1. Formal Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree related to Human Resources, Business Administration and Management, or similar.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience performing these functions in a similar environment.
  • Office skills: Excel medium-high level. Knowledge of SAP Success Factors is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

  • It is necessary to have your own vehicle, as AF Alzira is not served by public transport.
  • This is a temporary vacancy, initially for approximately 6-7 months.
